This site is about my personal experience losing weight, becoming more fit, and increasing my overall health. Any such journey has its risks, and especially any exercise regime that is genuinely transforming will lead to some injuries along the way – in particular if the body has been neglected for a decade or more.
I do not have any formal training in this area, but I have read a significant number of books and other resources, in particular on the web. From those I picked out what made sense to me (and many things did not, I have to say) and this is what I am presenting. The key word here is FOR ME. My conclusions MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT BE SUITABLE FOR THE SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES, and if you follow my path, please use common sense, exercise caution, and make sure that it is right for you.
Last but not least – nothing in this website constitutes advice, medical or other – and before engaging into any significant changes to your lifestyle – in particular with respect to your exercise regime, or with your nutrition – PLEASE CONSULT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. This holds even more so if you have some medical conditions, or you are very overweight.
From time to time I describe workouts, or specific exercises. You should not simply “follow” those workouts – but you can of course take them as in inspiration to create your own. PLEASE DO ENSURE THAT YOU USE PROPER FORM FOR EVERY EXERCISE. When I am describing an exercise, it is to-the-best-of-my-knowledge, and for my personal circumstances. WHETHER OR NOT THIS APPLIES TO YOU IS FOR YOU TO JUDGE AND IF IN DOUBT YOU SHOULD CONSULT WITH A KNOWLEDGEABLE PROFESSIONAL.
